Corn fritters and maple butter...yumm!! Fried chicken was very good...light and crispy batter and juicy on the inside. We both had the mashed potatoes and green beans and loved them. Hubby said steak was good. Nice area with shops etc.

We came at 5 pm on a Friday of a Holiday weekend. It took about 90 minutes to get seated. We went across the parking lot to the distillery so the hubs could get an old fashioned. Had fun watching the ducks and reading about Pigeon Forge and the mill while we waited.I got the fried chicken-being a Northerner, ours tastes different, but the breading was crispy and chicken was moist. My husband got the chicken fried steak. This was the first time he had ever gotten it that we both agreed it was as good or better than mine! We loved the homestyle dinner bowls with mashed potatoes (the best I had ever had), green beans (again the best I had ever had), corn fritters (tasty) and roll (yummy!). The dinner salads were a nice mix of greens, tomato, red onion cucumbers and carrots-very good! We both loved the corn chowder. I did not take pictures before we ate, but here is my leftovers (chicken platter had three large breasts, I ate one), the chocolate cake and the blackberry cobbler. The dinner prices included everything listed! Our total bill was $60 plus tip, I had soda.

Got seated right away. Mine and my husband's first time here despite coming to the area over 5 times each over the years. Amazing food, great service. We see what the hype is about. I had pot roast so tender, he had grilled pork chops and loved them. So much food for leftovers! We both loved the soup and fritters. I even saw a river otter in the water after dinner.

This place is absolutely phenomenal! The food was incredible, and our waitress, Amanda, was probably the best waitress we've ever had. We were quoted a 40-minute wait time, but it moved faster than that. Even if it hadn't moved faster, it would have been worth the wait. We had enough leftovers for my husband and I both to eat lunch the next day, and both be full. You get a ton of food, the food is excellent, and the service cannot be beat. If you're in the area, you should definitely go! We will absolutely be back!

The food was very delicious. You get a lot of food. You get Corn Fritters, Corn Chowder, Side Salad, your Meal w/2 Sides and a Dessert. I had the Salad. It was huge. Husband has the Fried Chicken. It was very good

We loved this place. Food was fast, service was excellent and our server, Victor did a great job telling us about the history. The corn chowder was amazing! Great spin on a classic with either peppers or pimentos was spot on! The fritters were really good also and came with some maple butter to make them even better.Girlfriend had the club sandwich was she said was really good and I had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans.Everything was great and having the view of the river made the atmosphere even better. We highly recommend this place for a great scratch-cooked meal.

Definitely glad we stopped here on vacation! The service is phenomenal and it definitely lives up to the "special dinner out" tag that our friends had labeled it. Our favorite items on the menu were the chicken and dumplings, mashed potatoes with gravy, and fried okra.

Very nice restaurant with an old time feel. Food was good, southern style cooking, the sweet tea was a miss tho. Other than that no complaints. We enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere. They have ducks by their restaurant, you watch them swim around while you enjoying your meal. Also they have a little feeding station where you can feed them for a quarter. Totally recommend this place.

First you get a small bowl of world class corn chowder that was out of this world good. Service was perfect, never waited on anything from service staff. You get corn fritters and biscuit/roll with a soft butter that hints of some maple. Then i had the lunch portion of turkey with dressing, green beans and mashed potatoes. My wife had meatloaf with the same sides. The lunch portions were huge. 8-10 thick slices of turkey over a large bed of dressing smothered in gravy. I ate until full and there were at least half my portions untouched. The menu was open with many offerings. I would strongly suggest this place and the prices were low for the quality and quantity of my servings. Only thing remotely negative about this place is the wait time. At lunch we waited about 35 min. So just plan accordingly. It is first come first served, no reservations.

Food was great! This was our first time eating here - it was a little overwhelming, with the multiple floors and no real direction between where the customers could walk versus where the waiters were rushing around. It was a Sunday afternoon, they were pretty busy, but we got there before the wait was too long. At first glance, the prices seemed a little steep, but looking closer we realized every meal (except maybe the kids meals) came with corn chowder, salad, green beans, unlimited bread, your choice of potato, and a dessert; which is actually a really great deal! Everything was delicious and our waiter was very friendly. My mother-in-law has the beginnings of dementia and has difficulty ordering on her own, but the waiter was extremely patient and was polite with her the entire time. There were 4 of us total, we all got sodas and even a few extras, the meal came out to about $130 or so. We were all satisfied with our meals and left very full! The only upset was that my meal didn't come with the fries I ordered, but I genuinely didn't realize it until we were already on our way to pay. If you take the ramp into the restaurant, there are posters that fill you in about The Mill's history, which was really cool. I can't wait to go back and try something new - the broiled rainbow trout was so delicious!

Make sure you come here with an empty stomach because you get so much food for a great price. Each meal comes with corn fritters, corn chowder, and a house salad. Then the main meal comes with two sides, which are served family style in a big bowl. Lastly, each meal includes a dessert of choice, which is either a slice of pie or homemade ice cream. Everything we had was absolutely delicious. The homemade chicken fingers were a little bit on the dry side, so I was able to switch it out for ribs, which was good. The county fried pork chops was cooked perfectly and the corn fritters were incredible! The waiter was beyond attentive, and kept coming around to refill our drinks and make sure everything came out the way we wanted. This restaurant gets really busy depending on what time and day you go, but don’t let that deter you. I went on a Saturday night and was quoted a 45 minute wait time, but it ended up being only 20 minutes.

Remains the best after first visit 20 years ago. Had about a 30 minute wait on a Saturday, but well worth it. Service was excellent and the server never missed a beat. Food was excellent. Definitely quality ingredients and the quantity of the food was good compared to most restaurants today that look for ways to cheat customers. The only regret... I didn't return for a second meal during my trip.

I had a great experience here! Everything was excellent, and I would definitely consider visiting again. I particularly enjoyed the mashed potatoes and homemade soup. This square is also surrounded by a lot of cute shop!

Better food and less expensive ! The historic building makes a fantastic place for this type of restaurant. It’s home cooking at its finest! Less expensive than comparable family restaurants in Pigeon Forge . Delicious foods like Fried Chicken and green beans or real Chicken and dumplings like they used to be made with dumplings instead of flat noodles! Just know that it can be crowded so expect a wait. But it is definitely worth waiting for.

Very cool place to eat! Very family friendly, and prices are affordable. We loved everything we ordered. We each selected a main entree, and the sides are all served family style. Our side were green beans, mashed potatoes, and corn meal nuggets. The whole pecan pie was shared the next day, and was really good!I highly recommend this place when visiting this area!

Fantastic country meal! All dinners came with a cup of chowder, salad and dessert. The corn fritters with maple butter, catfish and pecan pie were outstanding. And the blue cheese dressing for the salad was homemade. It’s a very popular and busy restaurant. Wait time was an hour on a Saturday night in the summer season. Portions are large and service was lovely.Update: When went back for breakfast and the BISCUITS were incredible!!! Highly recommend! And we got there when they opened, walked right in, ordered and were out in 30 minutes. Quick breakfast is totally possible.

Wasn't really sure I would enjoy this place, seems rather commercial. It is, but Holy cow, I was impressed. Everything we had was perfect. Chicken Pot Pie, tender flaky crust hiding excellent, flavorful chunks of chicken and vegetables. Served with green beans and mashed potatoes. I would absolutely order this again and again.Wife the Pot Roast with green beans and mashed potatoes. Perfectly tender, moist beef smothered in brown gravy. The potato soup and corn fritters, wonderful. We came back for dinner the next day because it was so good. I had the meatloaf was probably 3/4 of a pound , highly recommend it. Also, the pork chops, 3 pork chops. Excellent!

Had lunch today. Everything was home cooked & scrumptious from the corn fritters, pot roast, breaded pork chops, mashed potatoes & green beans. More food than I could eat. A hearty portion, sweet waitress & southern comfort food at its finest. You won't regret it!!!

SO many people everywhere! Must be a popular spot right? We came at 7pm and waited an hour to be seated. The wait was worth it though. My crispy chicken salad was so delicious! The veggies were all separated so I was able to eat veggies at my own pace and enjoy thoroughly. I tasted the sweet tea and it was good. My husband was impressed with the fried okra and my sister in-law with her chicken pot pie. Our party of 11 was 100% satisfied with the food. We had to take our desserts to go as all meals included a dessert. We felt so lost when we first got there but quickly picked up on the swing of things. You go to the reservation booth, make a reservation and wait till your name gets called on speaker. Our waitress Iwona did a great job, she was very helpful and she made us feel welcome.

This place is the best! They are quite often crowded, but they do seat you fairly quickly. Our waitress, Kim, was the best. Not to mention that the food was excellent. I had a steak that was cooked perfectly and very tender. My husband had liver and onions, which I think is gross, but he said they were the best he's had in a long time. I can't say enough about our waitress, Kim. She was so great. She was extremely nice and was there whenever we needed her.
